These are the originals and the best. My Colt 6940 came with them.

These really are the best and used most frequently on your T-rails (upper Picatinny rail). Low profile, low weight and simple. Slip them over your rails to keep them from getting dinged up or scratched. They easily slip over from the side (not slide down like other Picatinny accessories). You can cut them down to any size with scissors or a razor blade. The surface on these is perfect (more like a hard rubber but not sticky/grabby like a soft rubber) and durable but not uncomfortable like polymer. Just wish they gave you more in a pack. I always buy 2 packs because of how frequently I change accessories and rail space on my M4’s.
