The short model fits 590M tactical woth 18.5 barrel and heat shield. Low profile so a fore grip is recommended. I bought mine from OpticsPlanet. It’s a very sturdy design, very happy. My buddy has the longer version and it’s great too.

I bought this for my 590 tactical 20″ barrel with the heat shield. I highly recommend throwing the magpole angled grip on it. With that it is ideal for running a flashlight. The rubber pads it comes with add a nice amount of grip. I ordered it on a Friday and had it before the end of the next week. So the standard shipping was pretty good too.

This is junk.. I installed this with a grip on my mossberg shockwave and the recoil will pull it off the gun. Compared it to the stock front end and it is missing a peice on the top to secure it….
    Waste of money
Anyone who likes this has not shot there gun with it installed yet.

Hi Jeremy, From the information provided – you have the product being installed backwards.  With the product placed backward, the castle nut spreads the body of the part open (rather than sitting flush against should in the part). This can allow the rail to slide off. If you have any questions, we reached out to you in December of 2024. Please give us a call if you have any further questions.

What is your response to “Jeremy” saying it’s a piece of junk

Hi Dennis, From the information provided – this was a case of the product being installed backwards.  With the product placed backward, the castle nut spreads the body of the part open (rather than sitting flush against should in the part). This can allow the rail to slide off. We reached out to Jeremy with this info.

Installed on a mossberg 590 shockwave SPX. Install is easy, but note you will need a castle nut tool for the 590 to properly install it. The longer slot in the foregrip faces the rear and the shorter slot side faces the front. Maybe 10-30 minute install if this is your first time ever working on a shotgun. (It was mine and it was about 15 mins start to finish).
